Crystal Finishing System's Inc. paint lines are automated electrostatic spray systems that have the best environmental and pollution control features in the industry. These lines allow us to apply a wide range of paints and coatings to the extrusions we produce, as well as flat sheets, custom break shapes, custom fabricated and cut-to-size aluminum and steel.

- 1300+' horizontal conveyor system that includes Amorphous chromium phosphate conversion coating in its 5-stage wash system, supported by a reverse osmosis water treatment system, to process aluminum or steel parts up to 30' long x 6.5' high x 4' wide. Parts processed and painted in a Kynar 500â„¢/Hylar 5000Â® finish on this line exceed the requirements of AAMA 2605.
- 375' horizontal conveyor system, specializing in air-dry systems, powder, urethanes, epoxies, CARC's and special coating needs. This line also includes 5-stage wash system, supported by a reverse osmosis water system, which exceeds AAMA 2603 requirements.
- Manual shot blasting.

Crystal Finishing System, Inc. has the ability to provide in-house color matching through the use of our paint manufactures E-Z mix systems and color matching equipment and software. These systems allow us to eliminate job delays which can be caused by not having the correct paint in inventory. Crystal Finishing is a certified applicator of AKZO Nobel's TrinarÂ® and Acra-bond PlusÂ® products, BASF's Fluoropolymer coatings, PPG's DuranarÂ® product, Valspar's FluorosparÂ® products, as well as Sherwin Williams liquid and powder coatings.
To ensure your parts and projects meet or exceed industry standards Crystal Finishing's Quality Control department performs preliminary AAMA testing on samples that have been processed with your order. Preliminary AAMA testing includes Pencil Hardness, Solvent Resistance, Wet & dry Cross Hatch Adhesion Testing, Gloss, Dry Film Thickness and Color Uniformity utilizing a spectrophotometer.
Project test samples are retained for 5 years. In special circumstances, for example where a project meets the criteria for an extended warranty, samples and quality records are kept for the length of warranty.
